Amy is very comfortable is any broadcast situation. She’s proven that many times. Like when the lights went out while she was hosting a live national tv broadcast starring Willie Nelson, or while feeding marshmallows to alligators in a New Orleans swamp with Harry Connick Jr. on VH1. Amy is known in the business as a great interviewer who makes her subjects feel extremely comfortable, whether she’s talking to Liza Minnelli or 50 Cent. She has a presence on camera that is funny, witty and accessible. Amy is also a Producer and Writer, and has Media Trained many artists and celebrities as well.

Midwestern native who has called New York home for the past 15 years, Amy’s career began in Chicago, where she started out on radio. After working on air at WLS and WJMK, Amy made the transition to television by producing and hosting a live New Year’s Eve Special for Fox Chicago called “Radio’s Top Videos”. In 1987, she was hired as the Fox Entertainment Reporter. Where she created the popular segment “What’s the Buzz?” Her interest in the music scene allowed her to cover the early careers of artists like Smashing Pumpkins, Liz Phair and Urge Overkill as well as every national artist passing through the city.
